    I may not be blonde on the outside, but everyone tells me i have a heart of blonde. and i have natural, platinum-blonde highlights. but this joke confuses me.

    Blond= masculine, blonde= feminine.

    You can spell it "blond" or "blonde" as several people have pointed out; the former is a masculine adjective while the latter is feminine, but since so few words in English have gender like that (I only know of three) it's generally acceptable to use either one. Regardless, it doesn't matter for the joke.
